In our program with Murad Hofmann We are going to shed some light on these common prejudices and particularly focus on the religion of Islam.
Do Muslims themselves contribute to the misconception that Islam is an irrational faith and if so, why?
What are the primary sources of the religion, the Quran and the life practice of the Prophet, the sunnah say to that? What roles of reason, debate and the search for knowledge play in Islam?
What is your opinion? Please share your comments with us…
In my opinion, I think religion goes along with ratio. God gave us our ratio with a reason, not to just unuse it. Therefore I think religion should be understood also from a rational point of view.
congratulations for this great homepage. I appreciate your contributions very much. Keep up this fantastic work with Ebru TV. I hoped to see you on the book launch of Asad’s German Qur’an tafsir, but unfortunately I won’t be able to participate. I recommend every buyer of this book to read Murad Hofmann’s epilogue on page 1215 first to get a brief information about Asad.
